Gold Prices at New Highs

Spot gold hit a high of ,259.25 an ounce and was bid at ,256.25 an ounce at 1354 GMT, against ,243.40 late on Thursday. U.S. gold futures for August delivery also hit a record ,260.90, and were later up .00 at ,257.70.
